ARTIST STATEMENT
Peace Simon is a multidisciplinary fine artist and fashion designer whose practice explores identity,
movement, and cultural memory through painting, visual storytelling, and garments. His work often
unfolds through filmed painting processes that document development, ritual, and intention, resulting in
unique thematic bodies of work. Simon actively uses his art as a vehicle for philanthropy, donating works
to charitable organizations and community causes. His contributions to culture have been recognized by
the New York State Assembly, and his work has been exhibited in prestigious Manhattan venues,
including the United Nations Headquarters.
